We've already fit in 2 beach days this summer holidays. We go with a mixed variety of ladies from church ... whoever comes comes. This week the beach was filled with people we know ... it was busy but the kids had a blast.

Karina and her friend Kaylee ... these two tend to eye each other up at church and the like but here they were actually talking. They will be in the same class in September ... they also see each other regularly when we have sanity morning ... I can foresee a lasting friendship but you never know!!
Jolene ... making sure no kids steal her chair! She had some "bee" issues but didn't get stung!!
Derek hard at work ... digging a trench ... last week the beach was EMPTY but us and all the kids worked together to make a 'river' down the entire slope. They were bummed it wasn't still operational when we came!
Shaun was hard at work collecting feathers!
Later in the day we saw a large group of Canada Geese glide across our water ...
