Since I have a serious problem getting this blog up to date and whenever I blog I am always blogging the past old news .... SO today I am going to start in the here and now and when I have time (LOL... what's that?!?!) I will do some "missed posts" as I see fit.

So what have we been up to ... in the last week we have made some changes to our house. This link will give you the "before" picture ....

After much deliberations, talking, inquires and the like we got started ....

Saturday Dad and Jerry built the wood part of the hearth ... 

Monday Dad and I cut and 'puzzled' the tiles ... 

Tuesday Dad and Jerry cemented the tiles .... 

Wednesday I grouted the tiles ... 

Thursday the stove was installed ...

Here is Jerry starting our first fire ... the alarm went off a few times. 

We haven't figured it all out but it is nice and warm in here ...
